Every client interaction starts with a free one-on-one consultation to share our philosophy and research methods, to learn where your interest lies and what you know already, and see how our research can be tailored to meet your needs.  Our goal is to find you the information you want for a price you can afford…you won’t pay for anything you don’t want!  We specialize in efficient and affordable on-line searches, but can also network and/or travel to find those hard to find bits of information that haven’t made it into the electronic world.

Below are some of the types of research we typically do:

• Tracing Ancestry

If you’re interested in researching back generations into your family’s past, this service is for you. We’ll start with what you know and work back from there.  You can request specific facts that you’re interested in to tailor the research – maybe a specific region from which your family originates so you can visit, when they arrived in the United States and where they settled, information about faith, employment, etc – or we can simply get to work and see what we find.  Its up to you!

• Researching Descendants

If you’re interested in connecting with more people who share your family lineage, we can help with that too.  Starting with a known ancestor, we can work forward in time tracing families as they grow.  A great way to connect with family you didn’t know you had, or even start a family reunion!

• Confirming Family Legend

Everybody has those stories in their family lore – you’re descended from a famous personality, you have Native American ancestry, your ancestor was a wartime hero, and more.  We work to find evidence of those stories in this historical record to add to their authenticity (hopefully!).

Your Results

The presentation of the results we find is as customizable and cost-conscious as our research.  We can develop a beautiful report telling the stories of your family, or we can simply provide a family tree, copies of the relevant documents, and send you on your way to do your own story-telling.  It’s up to you!
